    A  Make sure to email the contact address on the left of this web page.

  • Q  My name is on the team sheet but I am unavailable to compete, what should I do?
    A  Email the contact address on the left of this web page immediately so as a replacement athlete can be contacted.

  • Q  What format do the sleeping arrangements take?
    A  Hostel accommodation in 2-4 bed dorms.

  • Q  Is bed linen provided?
    A  Yes, we always make sure to book accommodation with bed linen.

  • Q  Do we travel up and back on the same day?
    A  No, we return the on the afternoon of the next day, although you can make your own way home immediately after the race if you wish.

  • Q  Do we stop for food on the way up or should I bring a packed lunch?
    A  Yes, we stop for food. The place varies from year to year as each coach driver has their favourite place at which to get food. You can of course bring a packed lunch with you.

  • Q  Is there a meal in the evening after the race?
    A  Yes, the NIAF provide a lovely meal with dessert. There is usually a choice between chicken or lasagne. The meal is free.

  • Q  Is breakfast provided?
    A  Yes, and if you get up for it you can usually eat everyone elses as most people struggle to get out of bed on time.

  • Q  Do I get a singlet for competing?
    A  Yes, the IUAA endeavours to make sure everyone gets an IUAA singlet, however if you have one fom a previous year you are asked to bring it with you incase there aren't enough to go around on the night.

  • Q  What format does the night time entertainment take?
    A  It depends on where we stay, but suffice to say we are always successful in finding somewhere to go. The bed option is of course available for those who wish to get an early night.
